Two days after we were licensed as a Therapeutic Foster Family, we brought "Princess Tomorrow" home from the hospital with twenty-four fractures when she was only five and a half weeks old. Her parental rights were terminated on June 11, 2009 and she was adopted on June 16, 2010. We also have two sons, "Hammy" and "Moose".

Permanency Planning
The first hearing was today, and the judge ruled that the plan at this time is for all of the children to be returned to their mother, and no one objected including me. The father's visits were suspended due to allegations of sexual abuse from the four and seven year olds who are now in therapy, and it was ordered that therapeutic visits could take place at the discretion of the therapist, supervised by a therapist.
I just keep telling myself: I am raising someone else's baby.
That doesn't make it any easier, just more realistic.

I read your blog rather faithfully as my DH and I are starting on the same adventure soon...I'm so sorry. I can't tell you how bad I feel for you and your family! Keep in the word and God will get you through!
